Infrared Cosmic Rays - Cat's Eye - South Node - Ketu

The Infrared cosmic ray is the hottest of them all. It is radiated by the shadowy planet, the South Node or Ketu or Dragon's Tail. The South Node is always 180 degree away from the North Node, Rahu. Its ray is opposite to that of Rahu's, which is ultra-violet. Both the Nodes move in retrogression or backward motion.

As Ketu is the shadowy planet involved in causing eclipse, wearing it on the body as a ring or amulet is dangerous. Special care must be exercised while recommeding Chrysoberyl Cat's Eye, which is the gemstone of Ketu.

For some it can increase one's psychic cognition. Great care must be taken in its recommendation. If found suitable, it may increase one's ability to acquire the knowledge of the Absolute. Clairvoyants and psychics may find their abilities increased, specially their insight into the astral causes of disease.

There are some who think that Cat's Eye is a " Gambler's Stone". but there is no proof that it is as such.
